Charlie and Lola Cake

Your Charlie and Lola cake will be freshly made just prior to your party date by a leading cake company based in our home town of Southend on Sea, Essex. Their professional cake decorators have a wealth of knowledge and experience behind them and pride themselves on producing cakes to the highest standards. Using only quality ingredients* to create your Charlie and Lola cake, they really do taste as good as they look!

This Charlie and Lola cake will serve approximately 25 - 30 slices (although more maybe achievable depending on slice thickness) and comes on an 12" square board.

This Charlie and Lola novelty cake is available in either chocolate or vanilla sponge.

Chocolate sponge cakes are filled with Chocolate butter cream whilst Vanilla sponge cakes are filled with butter cream and jam.

Please note these fillings can be changed upon request if you prefer.

How to buy a Charlie and Lola birthday cake

Charges for cake delivery have been split into the following zones:

Zone 1: Free delivery postcode areas SS0 - SS9 inclusive
2: Upto 15 miles £5
3: " 30 miles £10
4: " 45 miles £15
5: " 60 miles £20
6: " 75 miles £25

We deliver upto a distance of 75 miles from postcode SS9 4EN. Distances over 75 miles can be accomodated at a rate of £1 per additional mile.

When you call to place your order, we will use AA Route Planner to calculate the distance from SS9 4EN to your preferred delivery address. We will calculate your delivery charge based upon this distance.

Please note that due to time constraints the boundary within London only goes upto the North / South Circular Road (A406 / A205) and we regret we are unable to deliver any further into Central London at this time.

How much notice do I need to give when ordering a Charlie and Lola birthday cake?

Please try to give at least one weeks notice when ordering to avoid disappointment. All Charlie and Lola birthday cakes will be individually hand made to your specific requirements.

Can I personalise this Charlie and Lola cake?

Yes. Your birthday cake can be personalised with upto approximately 50 characters. We will take the details of your personalised message when you call. The cake decorator will use their discretion as to whether the message will be placed on the cake although usually it is placed on the board.

Can I order party supplies to compliment my Charlie and Lola cake?

Yes. If you wish to purchase party supplies to compliment your Charlie and Lola cake, either place your order for party supplies by phone at the time of ordering or you may alternatively do this separately online.

If you decide to order online then select from Standard, First Class or Next Day postage options at checkout.

If you would like us to deliver your party supplies at the same time as your Charlie and Lola cake then we will deduct any postage that you have paid online from the delivery cost for your cake as depicted in the zones above.

Of course, if you would like us to deliver your party supplies by post in advance of the cake then both the party supplies postage charge and the cake delivery charge will be applied.

* Please note that all cakes contain eggs, flour, sugar and food colouring additives. Due to demand, we are now able to offer you Gluten and/or egg free cakes.

** Please be aware that although the cake ingredients do not contain nuts, we cannot guarantee that any cakes on this site are nut free.
