Planning your child’s 1st birthday is obviously more for your sake than your child’s if we’re honest. The average one year old doesn’t really have much of a clue what’s going on. They’re still alarmed when they trump, find the taste of their feet fascinating and still seem surprised every time their nappy gets a bit sticky. One of the easiest ways of transforming an ordinary table into something that look really special is by using table covers. These are often disposable paper or plastic table cloths which can add real flair and colour. Creating a guest list for a children’s birthday party is perhaps second only in terms of stress and potential expense to a wedding guest list. For infant and primary age children there’s almost a feeling that the whole class needs to be invited, along with their various friends in other classes, plus friends from clubs, family friends, neighbours and so on. It’s easy for the guest list to start at 30 and rise rapidly towards the half century. How do you regain an element of control over the invitations?
