Looking for a fun way to celebrate Valentines Day with your children? Why not have an ice cream party!Valentine’s Day for children is all about sweet treats, so why not invite a few of your child's friends from class to enjoy in some sweets with your family. Setting up an ice cream party is fairly simple since all you have to worry about is making sure you have enough room in your freezer for all the ice cream! For invites, you can send out red heart invites that say “come join me for a sweet treat.”
On each table you can purchase an ice cream sundae centrepiece to keep your party's theme strong, and get hold of some tin foil ice cream sundaes for a simple way to make your dining room come alive. You'll also want to make sure you stock up on some red, white, and pink party supplies like balloons to complete your decorations.
Of course, you will want to make sure that the children have plenty of strawberry and vanilla ice cream to choose from to make their own sweet treats. You can also place out sprinkle, wafers, pink marsh mellows and strawberry syrup so they can dress their sundaes as they like.
Since it may be a little messy to have young ones and ice cream, pick up a pink tablecover to protect your table and have plenty of napkins on hand as well. If you really want to make the children's day, you can also hand out Valentines Day party bags to make sure that everyone goes home with happy memories of your child's unique Valentines Day party.
