In a world of uncertainties, one thing always remains true - children's love of birthday parties. Children remember the colours and events of a party much more than the menu selection or style of party decorations. One way to make children's birthday parties memorable is to serve party drinks that dazzle the eye with colour. Here's an idea you might try at your next party.

Raspberry and Black Current Cocktail!    Use clear plastic cups for this drink recipe.   Fill each cup about 2/3 full with diluted vimto or Ribbena. Then add some red raspberry syrup and let it sink to the bottom of the cup. It will create a dark pink layer, with the combination of the 2 tone vimto purple hovering above it. Add an ice cube or two, and finally add a cherry stuck through an umbrella. It will look exotic and the kids will love the umbrella to play with when the drink is finished. You can also wrap a glow bracelet around the stem if you use a plastic champagne flute to make your drink glow in the dark.

A few simple ideas like this can make children's birthday parties something to remember fondly in years to come.
