If you have a child with an upcoming birthday, you might consider planning their party to coincide with the release of the sequel of the popular children’s film, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. For a theme, you can simply search online for Madagascar party supplies but failing this safari party supplies make a great alternative.

Given that children love portraying film characters, especially animals, you might consider getting some face paints and taking advantage of free animal online face painting designs so that each child can have their favourite animal mask painted on. Why not try a Tiger Face design? For the adults face painting can be a bit of a frenzied affair as everyone will want their face done first. Try to get as many helpers and family members as possible to muck in. Most guidelines for painting are pretty easy to follow but you’ll need to work quickly and efficiently as a team before boredom sets in and the party animals start turning wild. In fact, if the children start taking their roles too seriously, you may find yourself wishing you could escape to Africa too!

To spice things up a little, you might consider purchasing an alligator piñata and filling it with haribo, confetti and pocket money toys. A pinata always helps to take some energy out of the children, and will keep your many party guests occupied for a significant amount of time. You can supply a prize for the winner if you like but to be honest the contents of pinata and the scrambling -free for-all as it bursts open, is the real treat for kids with this game.

For the finale you`ll want a lion cake or tiger cake to complete your Madagascar party in style. Make it yourself if creative talents allow, or for us lesser mortals with the artistic caliber of a loaf of bread, simply pre order from a party cake specialist. Oh yes and don’t forget for the end of your party pre filled safari party bags to hand out to your guests as they depart.   As a special treat, if your child agrees to help you with the clean up you might treat them and a few of their best friends to an evening showing of the film to complete their magical birthday fun.
